Khadija Mohammed

Khadija is the Voter Engagement Team Manager at YIP Institute where she supervises the Voter Engagement team, establishes relationships with other Get Out the Vote (GOTV) organizations, and oversees voter engagement-related content to be put on YIP social media. An early college student from North Carolina with an extensive history in advocacy, Khadija is interested in studying the intersections between civic engagement, public policy, and political science. Outside of YIP, she is a Community Organizer for Rhizome where she promotes civic engagement in the Eastern NC Region. Additionally, she serves as the Co-Director of Outreach for The Barakah Initiative where she is currently working to collaborate with prominent Muslim figures in the media for potential collaborations and interviews. In her free time, she enjoys going out with her friends and writing her own stories.
